Let’s face it—most explainer videos are as dull as dishwater. But they don't have to be. Chorus needed to explain complex telecommunications infrastructure to everyday homeowners. We blended playful ideas with mixed animation techniques to show just how simple getting fibre connected can be.
To clearly explain the installation process to a broad audience, we combined simplified 3D animation with 2D iconography. The 3D elements map out the physical process in real space, while the icons translate abstract concepts into universally understood visuals. Clean, concise narration ties it all together.
The value didn't stop with the finished video. Because the production assets were crafted to high standards, Chorus can reuse the artwork, characters, and animated elements across various consumer touchpoints—extending the lifespan and reach of its visual content.
Ultimately, this showcases Waxeye's superpower: digging into heavy technical details and retelling them simply. True to the Latin root of explain (explanare, meaning "to make flat"), we take multi-layered technical knowledge, smooth out the complex jargon, and craft an easy-to-watch video that speaks effortlessly to every customer.
