A Waxeye case study
We were approached by NZTE to create an immersive 360 VR experience and AR application to showcase New Zealand as a premium sailing and refitting destination for the uber rich and their superyachts.
With only three weeks to the Superyacht Cup in Palma (Spain), time was against us. But we rose to the challenge, delivering a product that both stunned and engaged yachties from around the world.
The virtual reality experience took audiences on a hyper-realistic journey under water and into outer space, where they experienced New Zealand’s beauty up close and from afar.
The augmented reality experience gave audiences a chance to ‘test drive’ a selection of Kiwi-built boats around a harbour setting, via a custom-built iPad app.
